Deep Dish Dungeon Crafting: Workbench and Camp Station Costs

At a glance

Crafting, the Workbench, Cooking Table and Cooking Pot have different jobs. Build the Workbench for Leather, use the Cooking Table to prepare carcasses, and cook recipes in the Cooking Pot.

Choose the station for the job

Station Materials Main job
Workbench 3 Wood Plank, 2 Iron Rod, 1 Leather Material processing, including Leather
Cooking Table 2 Wood Plank, 1 Leather Cut meat and process carcasses
Smelter 5 Clay, 5 Scrap Metal Produce Iron Rods at camp
Cooking Pot 1 Iron Pot, 3 Iron Rod Combine ingredients into cooked dishes

The Workbench and Cooking Table together cost 2 Leather. Keep that in mind before spending your first piece.

Get past the early material loop

Find Leather near the Hammer room before making the Workbench. Once built, the Workbench converts Animal Hide from Rats into more Leather. The Cooking Table is a separate station, so having a Workbench does not replace it.

When a recipe is missing

Check which station you are using and whether you have picked up the relevant ingredients. For a missing Cooking Table recipe, try collecting Wild Corn in the Bat Room before checking Crafting again.

The Cooking Table page lists carcass conversions. The Cooking Pot page explains the fire beneath the pot and how to collect a completed dish.
