Start where you can see the Hammer
If the Hammer is visible through a rusty grate, leave the grate for your return trip. The route into the room runs around the other side.
Take the water and pipe route
- Redirect the water toward the far side, away from the direction you arrived from.
- Swim to that side, keeping clear of the eels.
- Climb onto the pipe that runs back toward the Hammer room.
- Follow the pipe along the wall, crouching where the space is tight.
- Use the opening above to enter the room and collect the Hammer.
Look for the L-shaped pipe and the ledge around it when choosing where to climb.
Open the shortcut
Equip the Hammer and strike the rusty grate until it breaks. You can now walk through the opening you first looked through.
Check the nearby chests for Leather before moving on to the forge or returning to camp.
